The Perfect way to Enrich their Day!
Group hikes give your dog the freedom to explore and sniff, in safe environments, as well as socialize with a consistent group of friends! Wether your dog loves to play and roughhouse, or is happier to just tag along and explore, there's something here for everyone! This is a great opportunity to add enrichment in your dog's life, wether while you are busy at work or just as an additional part of their weekly routine.
Where we hike?
When hiking with a crew, we are always mindful to select locations that are safe for everyone: hiking away from busy streets, trails that have minimal foot traffic, some water access in the summer (and no access while lakes are freezing), etc. We do our utmost to keep your pup's safe and to respect others that may be using the trails!
Requirements
Given the nature of this service, your dog should have some basic obedience, a solid recall, and should be well socialized with other dogs, people, etc. Your pup should have some off-leash hiking experience before signing up. While doing our best to mitigate risks, in off-leash wilderness environments, your pup should have skillsets that help to maintain their safety.
Group Hike Rates
Group hike services are 26$/hour hike. Additional dog, same household, is a flat rate of 22$/hike (+hst). Service areas for group hikes are: Goodwood to Prospect Bay, and Fairview to Spryfield.
