Life Skills
With private Life Skills sessions, we will teach you and your dog all of the necessary skills to communicate effectively. All training is force free and reward based; your dog will love to learn with you because we make it really fun!
During your private sessions, we can focus on a particular skill, e.g.,
- Recall
- Loose leash walking
OR learn a variety of skills.
Some of the specific behaviours we can learn include sit, down, stay, go to bed, drop, leave it, walking nice on the lead, recall, etc. We will teach your dog 2-3 skills per session, depending on your dog and which skills you would like to focus on.
Basic Life Skills training is useful for any dog of any age! If you recently welcomed a puppy into your home, Basic Life Skills sessions are a great follow on to the Puppy Comes Home course. If your dog is an adolescent or adult, they will benefit from this service just as much!
*Please note that we offer basic life skills private sessions online as well!
